Is it legal to carry a pocketknife in Washington D.C.?
I carry a pocket knife wherever I go, since it is one of the most useful tools available. It’s versatile and easy to carry. It has a blade of about 2.25 inches long and 1.5 inches wide (yes, it’s weirdly shaped). It’s all metal (including the handle). Is something like that legal to carry in Washington D.C.?
Since people are trampling all over our Second Amendment rights, I have to be careful not to break the law.
spidergoat2- Well it doesn’t say knives or firearms. It only says “arms”. And I see many gun control policies as violations of the Second Amendment. I live in NYC so our right to bear arms is very limited and controlled
