I was just wondering, because I want to get DirecTV for my bedroom. I probably sound unimaginably stupid, but cable packages seem to be really restricted and crazy like that. If I do remember correctly, however, I think DirecTV is satellite…not sure. I’ve never had to deal with any of the cable/internet/phone service stuff, since I’m only 17. But now that I actually have a job and can afford NFL Sunday Ticket for next season, I was wondering if this can be done specifically for ONE room.

We currently have a PRI-T1 where all our domestic long distance and internataional calls are routed via IP. We pay a discounted rate for different countries, and a flat rate within the US. We are looking to replace this provider due to problems with our caller ids not appearing properly or at all, and the voice quality issues where calls are dropped or choppy. Are there any reliable and reasonable providers that will service the NYC area. We currently have the Cisco Avvid ip phone System.
