Ok, keeping in mind i’m a lil bit of a noob…

I have a PSP-1002, which has served me well, even as a second hand model, for a number of years. Here is the series of events that took place, and have left me befuddled and gutted:

1. turned it on, psp autostarted a game disc
2. during said autostart, i decided ‘oh no you don’t', and proceeded to open the disc drive thingy and pull the disc out
3. after this, the psp froze, so i pulled the battery out and it reset
4. started the psp no problem, put in new date and time as you do, then when i attempted to get into the memory stick, it froze
5. and switched itself off. I restarted the psp, and it froze before it got to the menu screen, switched itself off.
6. took the memory stick out, and found that i could get to the menu screen and navigate around until i tried to get into any settings, where it would freeze and shut itself off again.
7. i now have the sh!ts with myself, and the psp

I know i am probably the one that stuffed the psp beyond any playability, and i’ve checked other forums and found that this is quite a regular problem. What i am wondering, is if anyone knows what has happened (from my crap description of the events), and if it was me that did it? And also, if there is any way to fix it (since i really really like my psp).

Thank you whoever answers this, i really need help!

ISO files don\’t show up after they\’re played!!?

Hey guys,
I have a PSP 2000 Star Wars Special Edition and i’m now on 5.50 GEN D3. I’m starting to have a problem with the ISO files for some days now. The problem is that the files do show up in the game menu. You also can play them (i experienced this problem first with RockBand Unplugged). I was in gen d2 the other day and all you could do is play the game once and if you exited the game, it wouldn’t show up and had to format the whole stick to play it again. then i updated it to gen d3. the problem is reduced though not solved. still the games don’t show up after you play for quite a few times.

I do not know whether what the problem is as i’ve never seen it before. I wonder if it’s the problem with the memory stick or with the ISO files itself.
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks, Have a great day!
