and the one on the left is the autograph of Jimi Hendrix,
and the other one on my right is the autograph of Marilyn Monroe.

If i had a tank-top on you would not be able to see it,
unless i go to the beach with a bathing suit you would not be able to see it.

So would i have to get it removed?

I am taking a guitar class at my school and we have to do a report on a guitar player. Today in class, our teacher asked us for our top 5 favourite guitar players just to find out and most people said Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, George Harrison, Jimmy Page, Carlos Santana and then some girls said stuff like Joan Jett and Taylor Swift. I don’t really listen to any music like AC/DC, Santana, Van Halen, The Who, etc. (Pink Floyd’s okay.)

I like music like OK Go, Hot Hot Heat, Stars, Death Cab for Cutie, and especially ones like Hellogoodbye, Vampire Weekend, Tegan and Sara, Jimmy Eat World, Joel Plaskett, and Mika.

So I don’t know if anyone of those are considered guitar players and are good or not because I don’t know much about guitars.

So I don’t really want to use any of those famous greats because honestly, I don’t listen to them. Also only one person for each player is allowed and there is about 30 kids in my class so the chances of finding one that’s not taken would be rare.

Anyways I have to tell about them, what inspired them, a video about them and play a tiny like 10 second bit of something they’ve played. (Something simple, as we are almost all new to guitar.)

Lot’s of people say that my things are overrated and too expensive so I chose these.
HELP!!!

Ok i have been playing guitar for years now and i know every chord and i have playd in gigs, i have learnt the pentatonic scale and i know how to move the scale for different notes but when playing songs how do i know which root note to solo in or what scale to use and how do i learn to play a solo that sounds good? should i practice jimi hendrix or eric clapton or jimmy paiges solos to get a better understanding?

Basically classic rock bands that sound like you can get high to it.

Criteria:

You can pick any guitarist from any musical era and of any genre. Antiquated musicians (referring to musicians who existed before recorded music technology) count only if they played guitar, scored their own guitar parts, and have recordings of their compositions readily available.

Make your selections based on your perception of the guitarists’ skill level, originality of style, and lack of mainstream appreciation. Explain why you feel they are so talented and in what way they are underrated. For example, jimi hendrix could not be included on any list because he is universally regarded as a highly talented innovator of rock guitar. Of course you could more than argue that he was skilled and original, but he is not underrated because almost everyone would agree. Pick guitarists who you think are overlooked, or perhaps even disliked by most critics and music consumers.

My picks are Peter Green, Ian Anderson, and Lou Reed. Who are yours?
Josh H: Rush are actually one of my favorite bands of all time, and I strongly agree that Alex Lifeson is criminally underrated as a guitarist.

I just got a JH-F1 (Dunlop jimi hendrix Fuzz Pedal) and i also got a Peavey Valveking 112. I need to know maybe some pre-sets or set ups for certain jimi hendrix songs, none in particular, just certain songs. Any help is much appreciated. Thank You so Much.
